Documentation
Definition
Specifies that the system does not take initial values into account when determining the preferred production versions.
Use
You want to release the preferred production versions. To determine which production versions are preferred, the system sorts the selected production versions within a material/plant group and puts them in ranking order. The most preferred production version comes first, the least preferred (non-preferred production version) comes last.
If the comparison value you selected is initial (zero for numeric fields, " " for alphanumeric fields), the system cannot use it as a comparison value. This could be the case if costing was not carried out for all of the existing production versions. If you have selected the Ignore Initial Values checkbox, the system ignores this initial value and puts it at the end of the ranking list.
