Documentation
Definition
A personnel calculation rule is an instruction to carry out certain tasks in time evaluation and payroll, or in the evaluation of payroll results.
A personnel calculation rule can be used to check existing conditions, and carry out individual actions accordingly.
Personnel calculation rules have the same structure as decision trees.

Use
This enables you to determine which personnel calculation rules are exploded. Such restrictions are a useful way of minimizing the length of the report displayed.
Examples
Let us assume that your personnel calculation rules start with Z. By entering Z*, you can ensure that personnel calculation rules are only exploded if they start with Z.
Dependencies
This choice is only relevant if you need to explode personnel calculation rules.

Use
During special processing, you are able to access temporary information calculated by the system, for example, information on leave deduction, or period related calculations. The system places the calculated values in record bed fields.
Information on record bed fields can be found in the documentation for the operands of the NUM, RTE and AMT operations.
Procedure
In this field, enter the name of the personnel calculation rule that you have set up to map special processing based on the employee grouping for absence valuation and the absence valuation rule.
Examples
Dependencies
Special processing is only necessary if the standard options for absence valuation are not sufficient.
