Relationship type in change sequence graph
Use
You assign the relationship type to a relationship of the change sequence graph to control how this relationship behaves when changes are made.
The system assigns the relationship types CMP and COL by default. These types are assigned to relationships that are formed by change statuses of the iPPE product structure.
If customer-specific applications were connected to the change sequence graph, then customer-specific relationship types can be defined for the resulting relationships.
Dependencies
1. Convert relationship type into usage location type and vice versa.
When the where-used list is run, the system converts the relationship type into the assigned usage location type to filter out the usage locations that caused the relationship in the change sequence graph.
The user can trigger this where-used list by selecting a relationship in the cycle display (transaction CCSEQ_CYCLE), and calling the where-used list function.
The where-used list is used to check if a relationship can be deleted from the change sequence graph.
2. Delete change sequence graph (program CCSEQ_CSG_DELETE)
You can restrict deletion to specific relationship types. The system excludes the relationships that are not assigned a relationship type.
Example
The relationship types CMP and COL describe relationships that were created by change statuses of the iPPE product structure.
