Definition
Shows whether the total quantity exceeds a quantity threshold.
Use
Dependencies
The system determines the total quantity depending on the following objects:
- Regulation (regulatory list)
- Company code
- Year
- Tracked substance
This means for a substance to be tracked in one year, the system determines different total quantities for all affected regulations and company codes.
The system then checks the total quantities it determined against the quantity thresholds that apply for the substance. If the total quantity lies above the quantity threshold, the system displays the status in the form of a traffic light symbol.
Which status the system sets depends on the following factors:
- The settings you made in Customizing for Substance Volume Tracking under Specify Quantity Limits
- The registration of the substance
- Special quantity limits that you have specified in the property tree for the substance
The message type that you specified for the quantity threshold in Customizing or in the property tree then determines which status is displayed:
