Definition

Shows whether the average quantity exceeds a quantity threshold.

Use

Dependencies

The system determines the average measurement depending on the following objects:

  • Regulation (regulatory list)
  • Company code
  • Year
  • Monitored substance
  • Period for Average

This means, the system determines a total quantity for a monitored substance over a specified time period (for example, over three years) for each of the concerned regulations and company codes. From these various total quantities, the system calculates the average.

The system then checks the averages it determined against the quantity thresholds that apply for the substance. If the average lies above the quantity threshold, the system displays the status in the form of a traffic light symbol.

Which status the system sets depends on the following factors:

  • The settings you made in Customizing for Substance Volume Tracking under Specify Quantity Limits
  • The registration of the substance
  • Special quantity limits that you have specified in the property tree for the substance

The message type that you specified for the quantity threshold in Customizing or in the property tree then determines which status is displayed:
