The monitoring period is often the calendar year. In Customizing for Substance Volume Tracking, you can define other time periods as follows if you wish:
- In the IMG activity Specify Monitoring Periods, you divide the monitoring year into several periods. The defined periods always lie within one year.
- In the IMG activity Specify Scenarios, you use the Period indicator to specify for the individual regulations and scenarios whether the system is to use the monitoring year or the defined monitoring periods.
