Definition

Specifies the scope of the package in days.

Use

Package processing means that logistics data is read and processed in packages. This method is used in the initial run in program RREGCH_VT for substance volume tracking.

Dependencies

If the Track History indicator is set, this setting has no effect. In order to record the history, packages from one day are worked on. Package processing also has no effect on delta runs.

Example

You have specified the following data:

• Start date of check: 01/01/2005
• End date of check: 12/31/2005
• Package processing: 100

The system reads and processes the data in packages of 100 days:

First data package from 01/01/2005 through 04/10/2005

Second data package from 04/11/2005 through 07/19/2005

Third data package from 07/20/2005 through 10/27/2005

Fourth data package from 10/28/2005 through 12/31/2005
