Documentation
Definition
Specifies whether the quantity displayed is a planned quantity (X) or a confirmed quantity (<blank>).
A planned quantity is a quantity in an order that was not yet edited or whose quantity was confirmed, but not yet posted via a goods movement.
Material documents usually exist for confirmed quantities.
Use
If you only want to display planned quantities for substance volume tracking, set this indicator.
The overall status displayed for the 'tracked substances' then refers only to the total of all planned quantities.
Dependencies
The system stores planned and confirmed quantities in different tables. In substance volume tracking, the system deletes a planned quantity as soon as it is confirmed.
Example
- The quantity in a purchase order for which a full confirmation exists, that is the quantity in a completed purchase order is considered to be confirmed.
- The quantity in a purchase order with partial confirmations is partly confirmed and partly planned. The purchase order is still open in this case.
- The quantity in a purchase requisition is always considered to be a planned quantity.
