Definition

Has the effect that the system tracks the substance quantities within the monitoring periods that you have defined for the regulation in Customizing in the IMG activity Specify Monitoring Periods.

If you do not set this indicator, the system uses the monitoring year as the monitoring period.

Use

If you set this indicator and divide the monitoring year into several periods in the IMG activity Specify Monitoring Periods, you can ensure that substance quantities are tracked over shorter periods than a year. Note, however, that the amount of data becomes greater the more monitoring periods you define for a year.
