Definition

Has the effect that the increase in quantity is tracked in substance volume tracking with program RREGCH_VT.

Use

If the program for substance volume tracking runs as a daily job and it updates the substance quantity on the basis of newly created documents, this indicator has the following effect:

• If you set this indicator, the system creates a new entry and leaves the existing entry for the substance unchanged. This allows you to record and track the increase in quantity per substance.
• If you do not set this indicator, the program updates the tracked quantity of a substance without writing a new entry to the monitoring tables.

Note

If you set this indicator, the amount of data in the tables can increase dramatically.
