Documentation
Definition
Divides scenarios into different categories.
Use
Scenario categories define the respective business processes and logistics processes that are to be monitored. For example, the scenario category determines the documents and tables that have to be analyzed.
Dependencies
In the IMG activity Specify Scenarios, you assign each scenario to one or more scenario categories.
Example
A regulation requires the produced and imported quantities of a substance to be tracked. You therefore assign this regulation to the scenarios Production (PRO) and Import (IMP). The Production scenario is assigned to the scenario category Production (PRODUCTION). This assignment determines that the system evaluates the corresponding documents from production. In the same way, the Import scenario is assigned to the scenario categories Purchase Order (PURCHASE) and Purchase Requisition (PURCHASE_REQUISITION).
