Definition

Specifies the technical properties of an order.

Use

If you specify a document category for a regulation in the IMG activity Specify Selection Criteria for Volume Tracking, you specify that only the quantities for documents of this category are tracked for the regulation.

If you specify a document category for a recipient in the IMG activity Specify Error Message Recipients, you specify that this recipient receives only the messages that affect the documents of this document category.

If you do not enter a document category for a recipient, the recipient receives the messages for the documents of all document categories.

Dependencies

Example

For the REACH regulation, you want to track only the following orders in the scenario Produced Quantities (PRO):

  • Process orders (document category 40)
  • Manufacturing orders for Production Planning and Control (PPC) (document category 10)

To do this, you make the following settings in the IMG activity Specify Selection Criteria for Volume Tracking:

REACH    PRO    AUFK    AUFTYP    Equal to    10

You want to inform the following users by error message if the quantities for the REACH regulation are exceeded:

  • For manufacturing orders for Controlling (CO) (document category 04), the user JOHNSON

To do this, you make the following settings in the IMG activity Specify Error Message Recipients:
