Definition

Specifies the unit for the quantity specified for the composition.

Example

In substance volume tracking in the standard system, only the compositions of substances are supported whose compositions were entered in weight proportions (W/W). Here only the dimension PROPOR (proportion) is supported. You can therefore use the following units:

• %    percent (1 part per 100)
• %%    per thousand (1 part per 1,000)
• PPM    parts per million (1 part per 1,000,000)
• PPB    parts per billion (1 part per 1,000,000,000)

You can adapt the determination of the composition to suit your requirements by specifying your own function module in the Component Explosion field in the IMG Specify Scenarios in Customizing.
