Documentation
This key defines the change type for the change
object (for example, bill of material, document).
Dependencies
If you enter a change type:
- the process flow is controlled by the system status
- you can set a user status, provided that the change type is assigned to a status profile in the IMG
Note:
You can replace the change type with another change type later, but the status profile and workflow task for the new change type must be the same as for the original change type.

Definition
change type that must be specified for recipe maintenance in the change order.
Use
By entering a change type, you subject the recipe maintenance to a user- defined authorization process and a specific workflow. The recipe can then only be changed with change orders in which this change type is allocated to the object managemnent record for recipe maintenance.
In the following table you can see which objects are affected by which changes:

Dependencies
- The change type entered here is only taken into account if you choose the change rule With change order and change type at the same time.
- When the change type has already been assigned in the recipe profile you cannot chnage it in the recipe header
- You cannot chnage the change type of the profile from recipe processing
