Documentation
Definition
Key that identifies a work area or a pattern uniquely.
Use
The work area is the point of reference for a number of activities, for example:
- Performing a risk assessment (based on the assignment of an agent to a work area)
- Creating an exposure profile
- Updating and evaluating a company incident/accident log
Dependencies
Using the assignment to work area types, you can categorize the work areas and assign them to hierarchy levels (such as group, site, production plant) at the same time.
The prerequisite is that the work area types must have been defined in Customizing for Industrial Hygiene and Safety along with their relevant hierarchy relationships.
Supplementary Documentation - CCIHE_WASPID0001
Use
If you use the higher-level work area as a search criterion, all work areas are taken into account that are positioned in the work area hierarchy immediately below the top-level work area.
Note: Hierarchy relationships can be specified for work areas only.
