Definition

Specifies the language in which the data record was entered.

Use

You need to know which language the entry was made in for character conversion purposes using EH&S Native Language Support (EH&S NLS).

You generate documents, such as the accident notification, using data from the SAP system. This data must be output correctly in all possible languages in the SAP system. In certain cases, data is converted by the EH&S NLS based on the entry language to make this possible.
