Characterizes the safety measure.

Dependencies

If you transfer the safety measure to Plant Maintenance (PM) for processing as part of a maintenance notification, your description appears in Plant Maintenance as a task short text with a maximum of 40 characters. You can only transfer the safety measure once the description has been entered.

Plant Maintenance can edit the text you enter. When the task is read back to Industrial Hygiene and Safety after completion, the text that may have been changed by PM is transferred back as the description for the safety measure.

Notes:

• Whether safety measures can be transferred to PM processing depends on the Customizing for the safety measure category. As standard, the link is set for technical safety measures.
• You will find detailed information on reading tasks back from PM in the documentation for the report program REHS_GET_ACTIONS_FROM_PM.
