Definition

Subordinate change master record in a change hierarchy that controls the changes to the individual objects.

Use

The change package determines which change objects are to be processed, and how they are to be processed.

Procedure

Examples

You cretae a change request with the change package function (change number P-1).

• Allocate this change package to the leading change master record (change number 140).
• Enter the object management records for the package for:
• Material MAT-1
• the allocated material BOM (plant 0001; usage 1)
• Process the change objects (material MAT-1 and allocated BOM) with reference to the change package (change number P-1).

Dependencies

You must allocate the change package to a leading change master rceord.

You can include a change request in a change hierarchy by using the change package function.
