Definition
Indicator that controls the assignment of revision levels in the predefined sequence.
Use
If you set this indicator, the system sorts the revision levels in the predefined sequence - irrespective of the alphabetical sequence of the revision levels.
Procedure
Set this indicator if you want the system to assign the next revision level in the sequence.
Examples
The following unsorted sequence has been determined for the revision levels (material):
Sequence Revision level
1 A
2 C1
3 C2
4 B1
5 E
The material MAT has only been assigned the revision level C2 up until now. If you assign a new revision level, the system determines the following values dependently of the extended sequence check indicator:
- Indicator set -> revision level B1
- Indicator not set -> revision level A
