Definition
This indicator controls whether you can enter a rank in the change master record (change header).
Use
The rank controls which change number is taken as effective for multiple changes of the same effectivity type. The change number with the highest rank is take as being effective.

If you do not allocate a rank for changes multiple changes of the same effectivity type, the system determines the effective change number by using an internal counterr.
