Definition

Indicates that management records are created automatically for all objects with this type (such as, BOM) that are processed using this change number.

Procedure

When you process an object with reference to this change number, the system immediately generates the management record.
You enter the reason for change in the change master record by choosing the Object overview -> <Object type> function from the Goto menu.

You can select how you want management records to be automatically generated using further indicators:

• Mgmt record generated automatically only for new objs
• Automatic generation with dialog box

Dependencies

You can only select this indicator if further indicators are set for this object type:

• object type active for change number
• A management record is required for each object
