Definition
Indicates that objects with this object type that you process with reference to this change number, can only be processed with object management records.
Use
When you set this indicator you can only process an object with reference to this change number if an object management record exists for this object in the change master record.
You can either create this object management record manually in the change master record or allow the system to generate it automatically when an object is processed.
Procedure
You can define how object management records are generated using the following indicators:
- Object management record generated
- Mgmt record generated automatically only for new objs
- Automatic generation with dialog box
Dependencies
You can only set this indicator if the object type active for change number indicator is also set for the object type.
You can only set this indicator as long as no objects with this object type have been processed with reference to the change number.
This field is not active for materials. The indicator is set by the system automatically when you set the object type active for change number indicator. Materials can only be processed with reference to object management records.
