Documentation
Definition
This indicator shows that the data element is allocated to a domain that fixed values are maintained for.
Use
The fixed value check takes place when you maintain a change master record whose effectivity is defined by a parameter effectivity (for example, CUST - effectivity depending on customer).
If you enter a value for a parameter (with fixed values), this value must be within the boundaries set for the fixed values.
Procedure
The system sets this indicator automatically if fixed values are allocated to the domain.
Examples
Effectivity type CUST (effectivity depending on customer)
- Parameter: CUST (customer)
- Data element: CC_CUST (customer)
Aloocated domains: CC_CUST_airline
Fixed values for domain:
- CP (Cathay Pacific)
- IB (Iberia airlines)
- LH (Lufthansa)
If you want to enter an effectivity area in the change master record, this must be within the boundaries set by the fixed values CP, IB, and LH.
