Definition

Use

In the descriptions for the print request, you can include additional print request information. You can add up to 10 descriptions for a print request.

The descriptions are defined in the labeling scenarios. Since different processes and data are defined in labeling scenarios, the print request header only stores data that is valid for all print requests for the specific labeling scenario.

Dependencies

The description for the print request is inserted for the individual labeling scenarios using the method DO_PRTREQ_DESCRIPTION of the BAdI BAdI: Scenario-Dependent Print Request Generation.

Example

The descriptions can be specified as follows for the Delivery labeling scenario:

  • Description 01 for Print Request: Delivery
  • Description 02 for Print Request: Delivery item
  • Description 03 for Print Request: Delivery quantity
  • Description 04 for Print Request: Unit of measure

The descriptions can be specified as follows for the Process Order labeling scenario:

  • Description 01 for Print Request: Process order
  • Description 02 for Print Request: Batch
