Documentation
Definition
You use this option to reserve a subscreen area for screens that are directly assigned to a task type (table TCATX_TASKTY).
Use
You can use this option together with table TCATX_TASKTYPES ( MODULPOOL and DYNPRO fields) to show certain fields specific to the task type.
You can reserve a maximum of one subscreen area per access key.
If you select this option, any entries in the Program open/closed and Screen open/closed fields are ignored.
Example
When you record consulting tasks, you also want to enter the contact person and relevant department for the customer. To do this, you include these two fields on the customer screen SAPLZxxxx 0100 and assign them to the task type CONS (Consulting) in table TCATX_TASKTYPES.
If the employee selects the task type CONS in CATS for Service Providers, the additional fields are displayed in the reserved subscreen area.
