Definition

This line indicates the total number of hours, quantities or amounts entered or displayed for the entire line.

Use

The meaning of the value in this field differs according to the line category:

1. In a normal entry line, the value indicates the total hours, quantities or amounts entered for each account assignment (order number, attendance/absence type, order item, and so on).
2. If you have the option of displaying target hours to make your work easier, the Total field provides information on the number of planned hours for the entire data entry period in the relevant line.
3. If you have switched on the totals line in the data entry section, the Total field provides information on the total number of hours entered for the entire entry period.
4. You can compare the planned and actual hours by comparing the total target hours to the total recorded hours.
