Documentation
Definition
Specifies the relationship between the key date and the current date. The system requires this information to determine the key date for the data entry period for the time sheet.
The system enters the key date automatically. You can overwrite it however.
Use
- If you enter BLANK or 0, the system uses the current date as the key date.
- You enter a number to specify how the key date is relative to the current date, for example:
1- : the period before the current date
2- : two periods before
1+ : one period after
...
Procedure
Examples
If you have selected weekly data entry with 2 periods (2 weeks are displayed on the entry screen at any one time), entering a 1- in this field determines that the data entry period starts in the week before the current date. Only the period type is used to determine the key date, not the number of periods.
1+ determines that the data entry period starts in the following calendar week.
