Documentation
Definition
Determines if the system should take the period lock in Controlling into account during the recording of working times.
Use
If you do not change the posting date manually for the transfer of working time data to Controlling (CO), the system uses the date for which you enter a data record as the posting date. The Take Account of Period Lock indicator, enables you to prevent data being recorded for days that occur in the locked period for Controlling (CO):
- If you set the indicator, and enter a data record for a day that occurs in the locked period for Controlling (CO), the system displays an error message.
- If you do not set the indicator, and enter a data record for a day that occurs in the locked period for Controlling (CO), the system does not display a message. If this is the case, you must change the Posting Date in the transfer program RCATSTCO (Transfer to Controlling) manually.
