Documentation
Definition
Determines that only fields representing workdays according to the factory calendar are ready for input on the data entry screen.
Use
If you select this field, you can make time sheets that cover a period of more than a week clearer and easier to use.
Note that if you select this field, you cannot enter data for days off. If you do not want to use the field, you can use the Days off on/off function to deactivate input for days off as and when you are entering data.
Examples
Employees at one plant work Monday through Friday and are generally off on Saturdays and Sundays. The working pattern is shown in the factory calendar. Users who work at this plant do not therefore need Saturdays and Sundays to be ready for input in the time sheet.
Dependencies
You can assign users to a specific plant via the Time Sheet Defaults infotype (0315). The plant in turn is linked to a factory calendar.
