Definition
Determines whether users enter working times with start and end clock times.
The system calculates the actual number of hours from the start and end clock times. You cannot change the calculated number of hours directly, but you can change the basic clock times. This is also the case if you change a data record, which you entered with clock times, with a data entry profile in which there are no fields available for entering clock times. If this is the case, the system processes the clock times in the background and therefore does not allow you to make any changes to the calculated number of hours. If required, change the basic clock times.
Use
Dependencies
If you implement Human Resources and have maintained the Planned Working Time infotype (0007) for the relevant employee, the system automatically deducts unpaid breaks, as determined in the employees's work schedule, when calculating the number of hours.
