Documentation
Definition
Specifies how many parallel tasks run asynchronously: number of records for transfer / the number of tasks = number of records per task.
Use
1. Number of tasks <= 1
The records to be transferred are processed sequentially in one task (corresponds to the standard procedure in the releases up to 4.6A).
2. Number of tasks > 1 (<=9)
The records to be transferred are divided equally into sets and processed in a separate session. This improves system performance, that is the job runtime is reduced.
Note
If you have problems with system resources or the message "Maximum number of sessions reached" appears, reduce the number of tasks and run the transfer report again.
