Definition

Specifies using an ID with a maximum of five characters the application that generates external time data.

Normally you would use an abbreviation for the product that is to be coupled with the Time Sheet. If there is just one external application, you could use "EXT", for example.

Notes

If your external application ID contains letters, you should always enter them as capital letters.

To identify uniquely the record of an external application, you must complete the following fields:

• CATS_AWSYS (External Logical System)
• CATS_AWTYP (External Application)
• CATS_AWKEY (Document Number)
