Definition
Specfies using an ID with a maximum of ten characters an external system that is identified as a logical system within the SAP environment.
A logical system is a system on which an application operates based on shared data. It is used within the ALE environment: 2 or more logical systems communicate with one another.

Notes
If your logical system ID contains letters, you should always enter them as capital letters.

- CATS_AWSYS (External Logical System)
- CATS_AWTYP (External Application)
- CATS_AWKEY (Document Number)
