Use
You can enter gobal parameters in a parameter screen when you run CATT procedures from the Test Organizer. They are then passed to all parameters with the same name in this procedure.
If a value has already been assigned to a global parameter in the CATT procedure and you want to reset (initialize) it for this run, enter > ' ' <.
Dependencies
The global variables must be defined in the general view maintenance of the view CATP_GLOB, using the names of the CATT parameters which are to be used as gloabl parameters, and referred to in the CATT procedures by name. You can also maintain in the CATT transaction (SCAT) (menu path: Utilities > Global Parameters).
Example
You can make a global analysis for the company code if all parameters have the same name (e.g. 'BUKRS') and the parameter BUKRS is defined as global. The analysis is performed by the Test Organizer when CATT runs.
