Definition
Specifies which transaction type tax accountants can use to reduce an asset's opening tax evaluation amount in the property tax declaration.
Use
Dependencies
You can create a new transaction type for this purpose in the IMG activity Define Transaction Types for Manual Depreciation. We recommend that you copy transaction type 620.
Limit the transaction type to the depreciation area that you use for the Property Tax Report.
Example
In last year's declaration, an asset's tax evaluation amount was given as JPY 34,800.
This year, the tax accountant decides that this amount was in fact incorrect, and that the asset's opening tax evaluation amount in this year's declaration should be JPY 34,700 instead.
He therefore posts JPY 100 using this transaction type to reduce the asset's opening tax evaluation amount.
