Definition
Specifies which transaction type tax accountants can use to increase an asset's opening tax book value and its opening tax evaluation amount in the property tax declaration.
Use
Dependencies
You can create a new transaction type for this purpose in the IMG activity Define Transaction Types for Manual Depreciation. We recommend that you copy transaction type 620.
Limit the transaction type to the depreciation area that you use for the Property Tax Report.
Example
In last year's declaration, an asset's tax book value was given as JPY 34,700. Its tax evaluation amount was given as JPY 28,650.
This year, the tax accountant decides that both of these amounts were in fact incorrect, and that the opening tax book value and tax evaluation amount should be higher by JPY 100: The tax book value should be JPY 34,800, and the tax evaluation amount should be JPY 28,750.
He therefore posts JPY 100 using this transaction type to increase the asset's opening tax evaluation amount and its opening tax evaluation amount.
