Documentation
Definition
Indicates the number of disabled children that the employee has.
Use
This value is used in tax calculations. The number of disabled children is added to the number of dependant children to determine the total tax reduction.
Procedure
When you create a new infotype record, a default value is displayed, based on the Disability and % fields in the Family/Related Person (0021) infotype, subtype Child & Stepchild. A child is considered as disabled when the percentage is greater than or equal to 66%. You can either confirm this value or change it.
Examples
For example, an employee has three children, one of which is disabled. In this case, you enter 1 in this field, and 3 in the Number of children field. The system then calculates the tax reduction as if the employee had four children.
