Definition

By entering a percentage rate you specify the upper limit for revenues in relation to the current budget. Revenues exceeding this limit do not increase the budget of the assigned expenditures budget addresses.

Dependencies

• A percentage entry is only possible if you have budgeted revenues.
• You can define a surplus budget address, to which the revenues exceeding the upper limit are posted. If you do not use surplus budget addresses, the surplus revenue amount will remain on the revenues posting addresses.

Example

You have allocated a budget of $1,000 for a revenues budget address. If you define an upper limit by entering the percentage 100%, the revenues that exceed $1,000 only increase the budget of the assigned surplus budget address.

However, if you don't want to use surplus amounts, the revenues above the upper limit of $1,000 remain on the revenues posting addresses.
