Documentation
Definition
By entering a percentage rate you specify the lower limit for revenues in relation to the current budget. Only revenues exceeding this limit can increase the budget.
Dependencies
- A percentage entry is only possible if you have budgeted revenues.
- Revenues below the lower limit (= minimum revenue) are not distributed to any budget address - they will remain on the revenues posting addresses.
Example
You have allocated a budget of $1,000 for a revenues budget address. If you define a lower limit by entering the percentage 100%, the revenues that exceed $1,000 are regarded as budget-increasing. If you enter 125% instead, then only revenues exceeding $1,250 can increase the budget using the RIB functionality.
