Definition

This field determines the data to be migrated from Former Budgeting to the Budget Control System.

  • Overall : Account assignments with budget in the overall table are migrated.
    • If only overall budget exists, the overall amount is migrated to a default fiscal year
    • If overall and annual budget exist, the budget of all fiscal years before BCS activation is migrated. The overall amount, such as the fiscal year budgets since BCS activation, will not be included for migration.
  • Annual : The annual budget is migrated for the selected fiscal years.

Note

The migration tool also takes the following into consideration:

  • Via the budget profile, the level at which availability control is performed in Former Budgeting is considered for migration. If checks are done on an annual basis for an overall fund, the overall amount is ignored, and migration is only carried out on an annual basis for all fiscal years before BCS activation.
  • Via the fund type, the budget scope defined in BCS is also included for migration. If this data is not consistent with the AVC level in Former Budgeting, migration of budgeting data is not possible.
