If the tolerance profile supports usage rates and absolute variances, then this indicator defines how availability control determines the upper limit for budget consumptions from the values of the usage rate and absolute variance.

Please select one of the following options:

• Only take the upper limit as calculated from the usage rate
• Only take the upper limit as calculated from the absolute variance
• Take the lower value of the limits calculated from the usage rate and from the absolute variance (strict limit)
• Take the higher value of the limits calculated from the usage rate and from the absolute variance (soft limit)
