Documentation
Definition
Establishes the roles that may not be assigned to a business partner at the same time.
Use
The BP role exclusion group allows you to ensure that a business partner does not take on certain roles at the same time.
Within an exclusion group you can define transitions between roles that establish a permitted sequence of roles.
Transitions that are not explicitly defined are not allowed.
Dependencies
Example
You have defined an exclusion group that contains the following roles:
- Prospect
- Sold-to party
In this way you establish that a BP cannot take on the role of a prospect and a sold-to party at the same time.
You have also defined the following transition for this exclusion group:
- Prospect -> sold-to party
In this way you establish that the only possible transition is from prospect to sold-to party.
