Definition

Denotes the name with with a business partner logs on to the Internet.

In addition to the user name (12 characters long), a longer, descriptive name (40 characters long) can be chosen. Thus the user can be identified either by his 12 character user name or by his Internet user.

Internally, the (12 character) user name is always decisive. The Internet user is used mainly when users are created in the Internet transaction. Here only the Internet user is stated. The (12 character) Internet user is generated internally.

The field Internet user in the dialog for business partner maintenance is used mainly for finding Internet users whose internal technical user name is no longer recognized.
