Definition
Cardinality (n : m) describes the BP relationship/BP role definition with regard to the number of possible business partners 1 and/or business partners 2.
The left side of cardinality (m) defines the maximum number of BP relationships/BP role definitions of the same category and differentiation in which a partner occurs asbusiness partner 2.
Thus n describes the maximum number of business partners 1 with which a business partner 2 can exist in a BP relationship/BP role definition of the same category and the same differentiation at the same time.
Value range
- n = 0
The number is not checked. In other words, the partner may occur in any number of relationships/role definitions of the same category and the same differentiation as business partner 2.
- n = 1 to n = 999
The value determines the maximum number of relationships/role definitions of the same category in which a partner may occur as business partner 2.
