Use
A malfunction at an object can have an effect on another (superior) system, for example at the superior functional location or at the superior equipment.
Procedure
Examples
At a pump station with two equally powerful pumps one of them has broken down. The functional location they serve can therefore only operate at half power. This location is therefore affected by the malfunction in the pump.
