Use
Procedure
Select this field to determine which of the instances of your SAP System are now available for performing background jobs.
The system only determines servers which are configured for background processing in active operation mode (or background servers that are not configured). Background servers intended for other operation modes are not listed.

You can use the analysis to eliminate errors in background processing that are related to parameters.

Use
Procedure
Select this field to test the local SAP server name against the names under which this server is known to the message server. The server name is taken from the system profile parameter rdisp/myname.
It is not necessary to check the host name, as known in the operating sytem or network, and this does not take place.
A correct test run guarantees that no errors will result in background processing on account of name inconsistencies.

Use
Procedure
Select this field to determine the statuses of the background work processes in the instance(s) specified.

The statuses possible are:
- Waiting: Process waiting for requests
- Running: Process carrying out a request
- Stop: Process waiting for a message
- Ended: Process ended by an error
