Documentation
Definition
Object that describes the multidimensional segment of data from a dataset.
Use
In reporting, analysis and planning, filters are used to restrict data to a specific business area, specific product groups, specific time spans, and so on. By segmenting the dataset, users or user groups can get restricted access to the data that is relevant to them or have only specific data areas be visible within an application scenario. Filters can be saved so that they can be used in other contexts again.
You can enter several filters here by separating them with a semicolon (;).
