Definition
Activates parallel maintenance for the SAP Business Partner and the Real Estate Business Partner.
This means that
- an SAP Business Partner is automatically created and assigned to a Real Estate Business Partner when you create a Real Estate Business Partner, and vice versa.
- the SAP Business Partner assigned to a Real Estate Business Partner is automatically changed when you make changes to the Real Estate Business Partner, and vice versa.
Parallel data supply for the two business partner management systems ensures that both business partners receive the same data.
When can/must the switch be activated?
- If you are using Real Estate Management (RE) in your system, you must activate parallel maintenance
- In every other case you can activate parallel maintenance if you wish.
Prerequisites for activating parallel data supply:
- You have successfully converted the Real Estate Business Partner to the SAP Business Partner in phase I of the business partner conversion.
- You have made all the settings for the conversion Customizing that controls parallel maintenance.
