Documentation
Definition
Server group for which parallel processing is to be used.
Use
When using parallel processing several dialog work processes are used on one or more than one application servers. This is dependent on whether the execution is started from a dialog program or from a background processing job.
The system uses the server group to determine which application server can be used in parallel processing and to what extent.
If you have entered DEFAULT or if the field is blank, then the system uses all application servers that are available in the current SAP system as a group.
Note
To ensure that the system accesses only application servers that have sufficient resources, SAP recommends that you use the explicitly defined RFC server groups instead of DEFAULT.
