Definition
Indicates the business partner roles for an application that are included and evaluated in the data supply for Total Commitment.
Use
Together with business partner relationships, the business partner roles in the application that are permitted for Total Commitment represent a criterion for determining the total commitment.
Dependencies
You can define the business partner roles in the application that are permissible for Total Commitment, and assign role sets, in Customizing for the SAP Business Partner for Financial Services under Settings for Financial Services -> Tools -> Total Commitment -> Make Settings for Total Commitment.
Example
In Customizing for Total Commitment, you determine that the business partner role correspondence recipient is relevant for Total Commitment in all the applications that are registered there. This enables you to display all the contract data for the business partner in the role of correspondence recipient.
In addition, the business partner role of account holder in the Account Management (FS-AM) application is relevant for data supply for Total Commitment, and is defined as a permissible business partner role.
When you call the contract data for the business partner Maier in Total Commitment, the relationship data for the business partner Miller, who was created in the role of account holder, is included. The relationship with the business partner Smith is not included when you call Total Commitment, as this business partner was not created in any of the roles that were defined as permissible.
